Reno's World

The author, Reno is 11 years old and lives in Southwest Florida with his family. For the past year he has been an advocate for autism. He is also a public speaker and to date, Reno has reached almost 13,000 people. Reno was born legally blind and carries many diagnoses including Asperger's but hopes this book and his story will not only teach you about autism but inspire you to always look at your abilities, NOT your disabilities! This is a book meant for children and I belive it to be a must read for sibblings, classmates, cousins or any other child or teenager that knows a child in the autism spectrum. But I also consider it a must read for the adults around a child with autism.

Delivered from Distraction: Getting the Most out of Life with Attention Deficit Disorder

Delivered from Distraction is a fine read (stylistically) and an excellent guidebook for someone who is professionally and accurately diagnosed with ADD, or for those who would like to know what having ADD feels like and the types of behaviors people with ADD are prone to exhibit. This could be of particular benefit to mental health professionals who work with people with ADD or ADHD.
